Miss "Scarlett"

All-Around Do Anything

I will not be able to say enough things about this mare. She was adopted wild in 2013 for the Mustang Million and competed in the pro division with Mandy. Since then she has been starting colts, giving trail rides and lessons, working and roping cattle (day work, not arena work). She is my absolute number one horse, hence her price. It takes a LOT of years to make a horse this great. Scarlett KNOWS her job with starting horses. She knows how to watch out for them kicking and keep her rider safe. When I get on the ground, she gets out of the way. When I put a first ride on a horse, I tie up her reins to the horn and vocally send her into a walk, trot and even lope while I ride the colt and the colt follows her. When I have an issue catching a horse, she will stand at one side and pin her ears or threaten the horse to stay away from her-she does not run around crazy with the untrained one causing chaos. When i get off and tell her to stand, she does (one time she did slowly walk off in the pasture and went back to the barn-ONCE ha). She is extremely patient with other horses and riders. She has been used to train hot bred and hot fed racehorse yearlings. She has been used to teach them to pony at the walk trot and lope. She loves her winter blanket. She is brave and a leader on trails. She is great in arena trail. She has competed in numerous ranch classes and working cow classes with the ASHA earning Green Horse of the year and winning multiple buckels and awards. She can be a fun or serious show horse. I can tell more abouther if interested. Video coming.
